What does NLGI grade mean in grease?
NLGI stands for National Lubricating Grease Institute, and its grade indicates the consistency of grease. The scale ranges from 000 (very fluid) to 6 (very hard), with NLGI 2 being the most common for general-purpose use in automotive and industrial applications.
What is anti-seize and how is it different from grease?
Anti-seize is a lubricant that prevents seizing, galling, and corrosion between metal surfaces exposed to high heat or pressure. Unlike grease, it’s typically used during assembly on bolts, threads and flanges to ensure easy disassembly and to protect against long-term corrosion.
How often should grease be applied to machinery?

Premium, high melting point, lithium complex greases available as NLGI 2 & 3 consistency and ISO VG 220 base oil viscosity. Besides providing excellent extreme pressure (EP) and anti-wear (AW) protection, they contain specially selected tackiness and adhesiveness agents that allow the grease to stay-put under high water pressure conditions.
An ultra-high temperature extreme pressure grease that lubricates at temperatures of up to 170°C. Unlike most high temperature greases, Tru-Blu UHTEP Grease has excellent pump ability at low temperatures, provides maximum anti-wear and extreme pressure protection under heavy and high shock loads at both low and high temperatures.
Extreme pressure multipurpose grease adapted to very heavy loads and very high temperatures, subject to shock loading and vibration.
